Expectations are funny things. I went to this movie expecting a cross between School of Rock and High School Musical. It's nothing like either of these movies.

Bandslam is about more than music and teenage romance. It's the story of a boy who doesn't fit in, and a girl who doesn't want to fit in. The story is at its best when it focuses on "Will Burton" and "Charlotte Banks". He is a misfit who loves music. She is a spoiled "popular" girl who seems to get everything and everyone she wants, expect for one thing. I won't tell you what that is.

Go see Bandslam without expections. It's funny. The music is good. And I think everyone is going to start spelling thier nam5es with numbers in them!
